I was raised on bad TV

...Well, I wasn't REALLY raised on bad TV. But, I DID watch a LOT of TV as a kid. And since I lived alone in apartments for about 12 years, I got used to having the TV on ALL the time. I think I'm addicted to it. LOL! j/k But, I do love to watch certain shows when I'm not teaching. My current favorite is Bones. I'm also a fan of House and normally of American Idol (aside from this year's ridiculousness). I'm also somewhat of a weather buff and I love Today In New York in the early morning. Problem is, I usually miss that because I'm working out and showering. There was a time when I didn't miss any of it. ...I never thought I'd ever be a fan of any news show!

While I work out, I read. ...And I read. And I read. And I read some more. I'm a huge fan of Nora Roberts' writing under the name J.D. Robb. No. Actually, I like ALL of her books. And since I've read every single book she ever wrote under the J.D. Robb name, I'm working my way through her "Nora" books.

Nicholas Sparks is another favorite author of mine. I've read nearly all of his books, as well. So, I guess even though I always have watched a LOT of TV, it hasn't affected my love of books. ...Who says TV is bad for you, anyway? *wink*
